There are two ways of inserting cells into an Excel worksheet: you can either insert entire rows or columns or you can insert individual cells. When inserting entire columns or rows, the number of rows or columns that you highlight will correspond to the number inserted.

For example, if we need to insert a header at the top of a worksheet we might choose to insert two blank rows. To do this, we would highlight the first two rows of the worksheet. To highlight an entire row, click and drag across the appropriate numbers of the rows. Having selected the rows above which you want the new cells to be inserted, you can do one of two things. In the Home Tab of the Excel Ribbon, you can go to the Cells section and choose Insert and then Insert Sheet Rows. The alternative is to right-click on the row heading of one of the highlighted rows and choose Insert from the context menu.

When inserting new rows or columns, it may seem logical that the format of the newly inserted cells will correspond to the cells that were highlighted when the new row or column is inserted. However, in fact, the format is copied from the cells above, in the case of rows, and the cells to the left, in the case of columns.

The right-click method of inserting rows or columns is normally faster. However, the slower method has one benefit: you don’t have to highlight the number of rows or columns you wish to insert. Even if you highlight a single cell, you can still use the insert button and choose Insert Sheet Columns or Insert Sheet Rows.

There is yet another way of inserting cells: right-click on a cell and to choose Insert. This brings up a dialog asking you what you would like to insert. To insert an entire column or row, simply select the appropriate option from the dialog box then click OK.

Naturally, all of the above techniques apply equally well to deleting rows or columns. For example, let’s say we have three cells selected going across three columns; we can move across to the Cells section of the Home Tab of the Excel ribbon, click on the Delete button and choose Delete Sheet Columns. This command deletes not just the selected cells but the entire columns that they form part of. Similarly, to use the right-click method, we would right-click on the row or column label and choose Delete from the context menu.

To enjoy a round of golf, you can have a set of golf clubs which should not go beyond more than 14 clubs and more or less should consist of a club of your choice, two fairway woods, a driver, irons from 3 to 9, a putter, a sand wedge, and a pitching wedge.

What do we mean by fixing? Basically it is using different methods to try and preserve your paintings.

As to why we fix it is a personal thing. Some people are of the reasoning that maybe their colours may not appear fresh. Therefore not all artists like to fix. Artists differ on this subject with some only fixing at the end, others just fixing a certain segment as the work progresses.

Some people do not like to spray their painting, so there are alternative measures you can take. It is possible to use tissue or cellophane paper by the sheet. Then, if you have your painting on a flat board, cover it with this and press fairly hard. Any of the specks of paint will ingrain in your paper, but do not apply too much pressure or it could alter your texture.

However, it is also possible to fix your painting from the back of it. This eliminates the chance of you, in actual fact, over spraying it. This does not affect your surface. Your art stays in position, because it is damp from the spray which peters through. Some of the paper you buy is very absorbent, so this is a great aid to your fixing as you are not left with skin on pastels that have not settled.

Diffusers too, are another way of doing your fixing – although sometimes you may find that these clog up. It is possible to put through thin wire after using, which then cleans them ready for the next time. Perfect fixing is not always achieved. Ideally you need to stand about 2 feet away from the painting and start spraying from the outside of the picture.

Then go backwards and forwards across your painting with a slow and controlled hand. Go past the edge and, whatever you do, do not stop in the middle. Actually, what you need is an even spray which is fine, but you also have to keep your arm moving. This way the spray does not stick in one place. If this happens and you have too much fixative there, it is likely to be dripping down your painting and will probably leave dark patches.

Next step, oh dear, you want to keep your colours fresh and fix it. How do I do this? You need to do this as you work, but before you lay your last colour paint layer or do any highlighting. This then should still stay fresh.

This is a good way to alleviate colour mixing problems from earlier. When colours mix, your work can be spoilt and this is depressing and you also don’t want your colours dull.

All I can advice is, do not fix the final layer of colour if you want nice fresh colour. Fixing can be a difficult process, so I can only wish you the best of luck with it!

This is a great way to save money if you already have a broadband connection. There are other options to the Voip telephony system as well.

One thing to keep in mind about using the Voip calling system is that depending on the type of service you have, you may need a different phone to use with the new phone system, it will have a USB plug, but they are relatively cheap. This is the only downfall to the Voip telephony because if you lose power you will lose your phone service.

You can do this via computer or through a Voip line. You will more than likely need a software program for the computer, but this also depends on the system, you have to use. If you use the computer software, you can hook up every computer in your business that is connected to the network. This is becoming more popular because employees can remain at their desks and still participate in conferencing meetings.

Businesses everywhere are switching to this type of communication within the company as well as outside the company communications. Because of this communication, businesses and individuals have more options for communicating rather than a landline with a local phone company or a cell phone. Look for more upgrades in this type of technology as more and more people start to rely on this as a sole means of communication in the very near future.

You may have already heard of the hit American television series Hannah Montana. By far, it is one of the most well-known television series that have captured the hearts of many teens and young adults. Mainly, the series focuses on a girl who lives a double life as an average teenage school girl by day and as a famous pop singer by night. Girl’s name as an average teenage girl is Miley Stewart played by Miley Cyrus and as a famous pop singer is Hannah Montana. The Best of Both Worlds – Hannah Montana Concert Tour

The television series gained great popularity. It got very high ratings and the concerts for Hannah Montana have also been very popular. In fact, tickets for every concert were all sold out with some sold at very high price.

Intel has finally broken its silence regarding Psion’s attempt to bludgeon the industry into submission with its trademark on the term “Netbook.” Important stuff seeing as how Intel is credited with (re)introducing the term in its modern meaning back in March 08. Granted, it took awhile for the name to catch on (we asked you to name the emerging laptop category in May) but ultimately stuck with the deluge of Atom-based ultra-portables launched at the Computex show in June of 2008. Unsurprisingly, Intel’s position essentially mirrors that of Dell although it was Intel that actually filed its lawsuit first: 1) the public already uses the term in a generic manner, and (2) Psion’s Netbook has been out of production since 2003 with no intent of being reintroduced into the market. Stupid is as stupid does, right Psion?

SolarBotanic is a company which researches and specializes in an emerging tech dubbed biomimicry — which seeks to mimic nature, and use nature-inspired methods to solve human problems. SolarBotanic is focusing on energy production, and, to that end, they’ve developed what they call Energy Harvesting Trees. The trees aren’t “real,” (they’re just modeled on real ones); these are composed of Nanoleafs, which use nanotechnology designed to capture the “sun’s energy in photovoltaic and thermovoltaic cells, then convert the radiation into electricity.” They also have stems and twigs which house nano-piezovoltaic material which act as generators producing electricity from movement or kinetic energy caused by wind or rain. The company has several patents on the technology already, and are currently seeking partners for funding and development. We don’t really have any details about what these fake trees look like — but Thom Yorke’s probably going to write a song about them.
